Mercury has been retrograde for two days, and you have already composed the argument you will never send, filed it under planetary interference, and moved on to composing the next one. The planet did not scramble your words; your Mercury in Pisces detriment scrambles them every hour of every clear day. What the retrograde has done is furnish you an alibi so convenient that the instrument cannot look away. The Full Moon in Taurus tonight will illuminate your Mars there—that swollen, stalled conjunction of Jupiter and Mars in the same immobile sign—and you will feel the surge of certainty that this time, *this time*, you are finally ready to act. You are not. You are merely better lit while you calcify. The cosmos assembled itself to show you exactly what you have mistaken for depth, and it was not thinking of you at all.
